Gianluigi Gelmetti - conductor
Conductor and composer, Gianluigi Gelmetti, collaborates with the most importat theaters in the world. In Italy he has performed many works of Rossini at Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro achieving the Rossini d’Oro Prize for his Guillaume Tell . He was honored with the title of "Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres” in France and as "Cavaliere di Gran Croce" by President of the Italian Republic. He recently conducted Les Vêpres siciliennes at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Un ballo in maschera for the opening night season at the Verdi Festival in Parma; Mefistofele at the Opéra in Montecarlo.
Future plans: Guillaume Tell at the Opernhaus in Zurich; La Fanciulla del West at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; Amica at the Opéra in Montecarlo; I due Foscari at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse.
Karah Son - Biancofiore
She recently performed as Liù in Turandot at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia with Lorin Mazel and as Mimì in La Bohème at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari. The role of Liù marked also her debut at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna for the 2012 opening night season.
She will be Madama Butterfly in Korea.
Annunziata Vestri - Altichiara
She recently sang Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino at the Teatro Regio in Parma and Ninetta in Les vêpres siciliennes at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, both of them conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti. She also performed in Il viaggio a Reims in Florence, Elektra at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Madama Butterfly in Bergamo, Novara and in Rigoletto a Pisa.
Future plans include Mozart’s Requiem in Sulmona and L'Arlesiana at the Wexford Festival Opera.
